Chris Cunningham and Aphex Twin Come To Daddy

I know, we're back to music videos. As an editor they fascinate me - the association of sound and image. And nowhere more fascinating than in the work of director Chris Cunningham. This guy manages to create 5 minute music videos that are far more frightening than any horror film I've seen (well, almost any... maybe most!).
He is always collaborating with industrial breakbeat electronica (any more buzz words?) muso Aphex Twin, and the combination of musical onslaught, surreal imagery and magic editing make this video one of the scariest things I've ever seen - but I can't look away!
Be warned - it is freaky.

just found you on orble and have been going through your old posts. you touch on some very cool subjects i musy say!

Yup - seen Rubber Johnny. Very freaky stuff. The booklet that comes with the DVD is really twisted stuff. Check it out if you can find it.
Wat spins me out is towards the end - the whole face smacking against the glass thing. Messed up!!
