Nike 'My Game' Documentary Teaser Trailer

Here we go again, just shameless spruiking (not for myself this time, but a friend)...

I am currently working with Director Carlo Ledesma on his latest film titled "The Last One". Most recently, Carlo spent a month in his native Phillippines shooting a documentary for Nike called "My Game". The film is about basketball in the Phillippines, and if this teaser is anything to go by - it's going to be a beautiful story.

Carlo and his crew spent the month with 6 of the most respected and talented Filipino basketballers, seeing where they have come from and where they are going.

Just to put things into perspective, Basketball in the Phillippines is kinda like Soccer in Europe -huge.

As you can see from the teaser, it really has it's grass roots origins in the backyard, outdoor streetball kinda thing over there.

The film is released in The Phillippines in October - hopefully we will see the English language version here soon after. For more info check out Carlo's blog, or go to nike.com.ph

This video takes a little while to kick in for some reason, so please be patient.

Congrats, Carlo - this looks like a corker! Can't wait to see it!

I love the look of this teaser - I'm not a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination, but this seems to have real potential to be a genuine and moving story. Thanks for posting it

haha, nah, though for some reason I can't watch it. Might need to install Quicktime... again.

Anyways, I always thought Soccer was the popular spoprt up in the phillipines. Guess it's only a matter of time before a big time talent scout makes his way over there...
