The Biggest Compliment

No YouTube Vid today, but a link to a video...
After a couple of solid weeks, I’m now settling in nicely to my Supervising Editor role on “Things To Try Before You Die”. We have no firm air date yet, but it looks like July. Stay tuned for a firm date when it comes to hand.
For a sneak peek: Really Long Link
The show’s looking great, and the more stories come in, the better they are looking - it’s really good stuff, and a nice mix of adventure and heart.
Yesterday I received the biggest compliment I have been given in regards to my TV work - after screening a cut for a Producer, his first remark was: “Thanks for keeping the heart. You’re obviously thinking about what you’re doing and not just going through the motions.”
The poor guy was expecting all the life and soul to be sucked out of his story, and was genuinely surprised to see that the story still had the depth and emotion he had shot.
Awesome a good day.

I was wondering where and how you were the other day, now I see what you've been doing. Congratulations, this is brilliant.
I don't think I'll try sky diving before or after my death, maybe there's another suggestion in the program for scaredy cats like me?
Great news!

The show's not for everyone, although the content is very broad - from skydiving into Vegas to volunteering at an African orphanage to diving with Great White Sharks to trying Haggis.

How's the film going?

Long way to go yet, baby... ;o)

Yeah - been kinda busy! Thanks! Nice to know I'm missed ;o)
As I mentioned above there's plenty in the show - we go through 30 Things To Try each episode. So far I've seen the US, UK, Middle East and Africa - and there's NZ, Far East, France and more to come!

The master of the house is well, and the youngest paduwan has learnt his first few words other than "Mum" in recent weeks. Very cute...
Will keep you posted on the show premiere.
