'The Last One' - Teaser Trailer and Official Site launched

Here 'tis guys!!

This is the teaser for the film that has been taking up my nights for the last month or two.

Because of all you Quicktime-Phobes out there (and the fact that Orble craps itself trying to embed QTs), what you see here is the tiny crunchy YouTube version.

The official site has been launched at www.allorangefilms.com, and it has far prettier and clearer versions for download, including the full 720p HD version - very sexy.

Starring Jai Koutrae, Written and Directed by Carlo Ledesma (The Haircut), Cinematography by Shing Fung Cheung, and Editing by lil' old me!

Flood the feedback, guys - we really wanna hear what you think of what you see.

I have to admit I didn't understand what trailer was going on about, I dunno why. Something wrong with my ears O_O

The actor doing the voice overs (assuming she's the same person as the woman who laughs) seems awful familiar :-\

Good stuff... great shots following the car through the tunnel. Personally, I'm not a fan of the slow fades, but it's all rimed very well. Shot on DV?

Great work Yoda,
I just checked out teh site and teh trailer, looks very promising...I like teh atmosphere and composition fo a lot of those shot...the tunnel seemed symbolic even out of context.

I'm pretty excited by this project.

Fung's photography is outstanding, and Carlo really has a great feel for story and symbolism: you're absolutely right about the tunnel... the context in the film is very symbolic of the protagonist's journey, and relationship with the other person in the car with him.

I'm sure I'll get allocated a certain number of invites for the preview screening... I'll see how many I can allocate to fellow Orblers...

TV Babble

I really like the look of this, yoda (although my computer is being a pain, and is not letting me view the higher quality trailer on the site). The trailer is very sleek and has a great ambiance; there's something of a noir quality to it. The teaser has done it's job - I'm looking forward to seeing this!
